Retablos.. Folk Art from Peru

APCA: Delia was born and raised in Cusco, Peru. This is near Machu Picchu, the international destination of many travelers. She studied art at the “Excuela Superior Autónoma de Bellas Artes, Diego Quispe Tito, in Cusco. She studied for 5 years and received her degree as professor and qualified in painting, sculpture, ceramics, engraving and drawing. She teaches art in the sacred valley near Cucso. She has shown and sold art in US and in the ferias of Buenos Aires and currently is showing retablos in the US. She speaks Spanish, is learning English and speaks some Quechua, the language of the Inca and also many of the indigenous peoples of the Andes.
